Thank you for joining us, fellow animal lovers. As passionate advocates for the welfare of animals worldwide, we’re excited to introduce an inspiring initiative called ‘Hope for Paws Uganda.’

Our vision at The Salvare Foundation is to create a compassionate nation where every paw, whether canine or feline, receives love, care, and a second chance at a joyful life. Current Situation: We cannot ignore the harsh reality faced by stray animals in Uganda. Recent articles like “Stray Dogs and Cats Face Mass Culling in Wakiso Town Council”, “Kampala Residents Divided: Poisoning Stray Dogs to Fight Rabies” and “Alarm as Stray Dogs and Cats Terrorize Bushenyi Residents” show that this problem extends beyond overpopulation, with animals suffering from malnutrition, diseases, and cruelty from a small portion of the community. We cannot stand idly by while innocent lives are at stake.

Introducing The Salvare Foundation: Hope For Paws Uganda

At The Salvare Foundation, we envision a society that recognizes the intrinsic value of every living being, including our canine and feline companions. Our three-pillar approach includes rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming, all supported by community engagement and education.

The Salvare Foundation: Hope For Paws Uganda is more than just a project; it’s a compassionate mission, driven by empathy and committed to making a difference. Our mission is to establish a sanctuary of safety and care for these innocent beings. Our shelter will provide:

  • Protection: A secure refuge away from the dangers of the streets, reducing the risk of accidents and harm.
  • Medical Assistance: Comprehensive health assessments, vaccinations, and treatments to nurse them back to health.
  • Loving Environment: A team of dedicated caregivers offering love, attention, and companionship to help them heal emotionally.
  • Adoption Services: Facilitating responsible adoptions, finding loving families for our furry friends.
  • Community Education: Raising awareness about responsible pet ownership, spaying and neutering, and cruelty prevention.
